Paper Moon by Peter Bogdanovich (1971)

Paper Moon is an Interior Design Studio founded by Creative Director & Brand Strategist Emma O’Brien. Our studio name is inspired by one of the greatest films of all time—Paper Moon, a 1971 road film by Peter Bogdanovich featuring a father and daughter duo, who after being thrown together on a road trip realize their intimate bond.

We curate objects, art, books, and furniture for residential and commercial spaces. Our studio,—deeply rooted in research, discovery, and collaboration— strives to create meaningful and memorable spaces.

Our specialty is working with the inner life of a space—arranging and rearranging objects to capture the light and story of the people who live there. Our design process is flexible and evident of the tangible human hand at work, guiding our clients through the often intimidating process of bringing a vision to life.

We endeavor to support local and emerging artists and makers. We love that their works contribute to an enduring sense of discovery and wonder that outlives any design process. We carefully source each object, seeing each one as a character in the space's story.
